Summary
Something ticked in Paul’s mind as the familiar words washed through him. When he looked at John, his friend was already looking at him. And suddenly, it all became clear: He remembered having that conversation more than 50 years ago. He remembered it too well.
He had been thinking about it for years, wondering what he should have understood, how he should have reacted. If it was as meaningful as it had felt or if his memory had just romanticized it.
“I don’t think a love like that obeys to any rules,” John went on, unaware of Paul’s agitation. “It’s not something that humans have created, not like a societal thing. It’s deeper than that, and that’s what some people are afraid of I guess, because they can’t control it. Whatever laws they create, they can never control it. A white lad will fall in love with a black girl.” He paused. “A lad with another lad. You know.”

Summer 2019, 77-year-old Paul wakes up feeling surprisingly good. One tiny problem: he is back in December 1965.

Summary
The band secured a contract from EMI; John, Paul, and George have managed to rent a flat together; and that's about as far as the list of lucky breaks goes. John and Paul are trying to navigate a world opposed to their relationship, EMI wants a new drummer, and George is inexplicably suffering from constant nightmares. It's confusing and tiring and worrying, but they don't have much of a choice except to figure it all out. It's a good thing they have each other.

Summary
This is an immediate continuation of "Carry that Weight", and pics up on New Years Eve/Day 1966. It begins with someone being accidentally dosed with LSD, and with Paul gleaning an insight that helps him feel stronger and more able to recover some of his sexual energy, which is pretty explicitly covered in the first three chapters. After that, THE ANGST COMES HARD AND HEAVY as one or Paul's attackers begins to reach out to him, taunting and threatening. Events force the investigation of Paul's rape into a new area.
MEANWHILE: John's bad judgement continues as his own PTSD goes unaddressed and he spirals downward and downward into places we never thought he would go. 1966 begins most dreadfully for Paul and for John.

Summary
A month after receiving their MBE’s Paul McCartney is ready to argue that the Beatles have as much or more power and social influence as those who would like to influence the band. Arrogant? Maybe, but it's no justification for what happens to him after someone spikes his drink during a meet-and-greet with the toffs. Thus begins a nightmare for him, for the band, and especially for John Lennon and the whole "McLennon" relationship. Note TRIGGER WARNINGS as you see them.
Although it wasn't written as such, the short story "The French Kiss" is a good prologue to this book.
This story is ENTIRELY a work of fiction, and a product of my own imagination. I do not own the Beatles and wouldn't wish any of this on them.

Summary
The casket was pristine white with red roses pinned on the cap panel. It’s when he grips the sides of the podium did he notice that he was deathly pale. Still, his skin could not compare to the ivory white of Paul’s. His thick lashes rest low on his cheeks, eyelids obscuring glassy hazel orbs that long lost their alluring shine. Though his cheeks and hands were tinted with rouge to give the impression that he was only sleeping, John knew damn well he wasn’t. It was the calmness of death.

John struggles with the aftermath of Paul's death and doesn't know how to cope. He always struggled with being honest to others, even to himself. He has a heart to heart with a man who lay there peacefully, perfectly still.
