He leaned closer, bringing an arm over her shoulder to point at one of the pictures, his hair just brushing against her ear. “That one nearly burned down the house. And this one, down here, actually did burn down the house a month later.”
Rey leaned forward, squinting at the two tiny photos. “Honestly, they can both get it. No jury would convict.” She could feel him huff a laugh – he was just inches away from her, warm and easy and solid.
“I don’t know how I feel about you finding my own father attractive, but Chewie? Yeah, totally fair.”
“Ah. Han Solo. Solo, of the Red Solo Cup dynasty?”
“No cup fortune, unfortunately, red or otherwise. But I’ve got half of Han’s genes, so I must be at least half as fuckable, right?”
Or: Ben’s fraternity throws the best parties. Rey likes going to those parties. Ben just wants to put her on the list, but without a name, he’s going to have to get creative.
