Summary

He wasn't always afraid to show his emotions. Before Ghost, there was a young man from the bustling city of Manchester with a waste of a father and a woman too good to be his mother. A man who, when he was finally eligible, joined the British army and escaped the hell hole that threatened to pull him under. And just like any other human being, he made connections with the people he met. Some were fleeting relationships that lasted for just the mission while others were much more substantial. But none was as important as the relationship he had with an American cowhand-turned-sergeant. Oh how unlikely this pair was, but how wonderful their time was together.
