Summary
Fleur Delacour knows, instantly, that Hermione Granger is her mate. Sounds romantic, right? Except Hermione is... well, Hermione. She's brilliant but trying to logic her way out of everything and stubbornly ignoring the very obvious sparks flying between them. Oh, and not to mention Fleur is now Hermione's mentor at Gringotts? Talk about awkward forced proximity and undeniable tension abound.
But while they're navigating that whole mess, someone's watching from the shadows. Someone whose feelings for Fleur have twisted into a seriously creepy obsession. They're pulling strings behind the scenes, setting up little 'accidents,' whispering poison—basically doing anything to drive Fleur and Hermione apart before things can even really start.
