Basically there’s this huge misunderstanding where Ives (eventually Bernard too) thinks Tim is being abused by Bruce, and he starts gathering evidence and stuff so he could bring Bruce to Justice.
Also there’s a side of Bruce learning to be a better parent because c’mon canon.
