Summary
Humanity is constantly at war with Teyvat's native species, a reclusive magical species known as the Dragon. Though they are few in number, they create enough destruction to keep humanity on its toes until it manages to create someone capable of fighting back. Thus the Dragonhunters were born.
Wriothesley, a wolf hybrid and one of these DragonHunters, is specifically sought out for a particular assignment. To kill a sovereign, the most powerful of dragons. Without knowing whether or not such a thing is even possible, he sets out. If only he knew what the commissioner of this particular hunt truly had in mind, he could have saved himself a lot of trouble.

“Well, well, well. Disciple of Focalor’s, high priest – No. Chief Justice, isn’t it?” The demons voice was smooth, confident, and his tail swayed gently behind him as he curled one dangerously-clawed finger around the steam escaping his cup. That piercing blue gaze finally dropped, settling on the cup in his hands and the little game he was playing with the aromatic vapor. It swirled around and around, wrapping up his hand like an affectionate creature, caressing flesh as if the tea were alive and quite fond of the demon toying with it. “What in the name of the Abyss has you of all people summoning a demon of wrath, hm?”
Or...

Summary
Neuvillette knows little of what it means to be a dragon; he has spent his entire life among the people of Fontaine. Everything he does know about dragons, he has uncovered himself through trial and error and the occasional bit of obscure research. But this, at least, he recognizes.
Mating instincts.
By protecting him, the duke is behaving like a dragon seeking a mate, and that has triggered Neuvillette’s own instincts to judge the duke’s adequacy.
When Wriothesley begins acting like a dragon courting his mate, Neuvillette finds himself torn between duty and desire.
