Summary
“Do you—fuck—do you like this?” Mike pants. “Me getting off to you asleep?” Before Will can stop himself, he chokes out a sound and whimpers. Fuck. Mike stops moving. Fuck, I’ve ruined it. Will thinks that this is it. This is the part where Mike realizes what he’s doing. He’s going to stand up, panic, tell him this was a mistake, and run up the staircase to escape. He’s going to wallow in self-loathing, and Will is going to be left alone in the Wheelers’ basement, drowning in self-pity.
That’s what he thought, until Mike, who temporarily stopped moving—chuckles.
“Oh. So you did like it.” He props his body up, cups Will’s jaw from behind with his left hand, and forcibly hoists his head up in a snap. “Fucking whore.”
Will wakes up to... Mike getting off on him sleeping?

Summary
Mike helps, obviously, he's one of the main writers for the show. He came up with the idea of it being based off of one of their old campaigns, The Paladin and The Cleric. Will had laughed, thinking it was silly but he also loved it. He loved all of Mike's ideas.
That's why they fit so well.
