Summary
Louise sighs heavily, flopping back onto the floor. "I can't believe I Like-Like someone who seriously once said the sentence 'Math is fun' and meant it."
"Not to say we told you so, because that's mean and condescending," Tina rambles, "but like, we knew this was coming and tried to tell you about it in the past. So… yeah."
"Young emotions," Gene wails, plunking out a simple tune, "playin' fast 'n loose. Finding love in the Juice Caboose!"
Louise rips the keytar out of his hands and smacks him with it.
(or, Louise tries to rationalize her relationship with Regular-Sized Rudy, and her family is the worst kind of help)

Summary
Rudy is a smart child, objectively speaking. He knows his limits; he knows better than any other kid his age because his limits are much lower than it’s starting to seem fair. He knows there’s a word for knowing but not caring, for plowing right ahead and doing what you want, regardless of the danger.
Rudy is reckless, he guesses. It didn’t take standing waist-deep in the Atlantic Ocean watching Louise Belcher do a dead man's float to reach that conclusion, but now's as good a time as any to reflect on it.
(or, five times Louise got Regular Sized Rudy in trouble over the years, plus one time he returned the favor)

Summary
There are things I don't know how to ask for, sometimes, Nancy had confessed to the darkness. Sometimes I just... can't. Ask for things. Choose things.
You can ask me for anything, Robin had tried to reassure her. I might not be able to give it to you, I mean. I don't know what it is, but... I wouldn't judge you.
She'd heard Nancy sigh and felt her roll over, facing her, whispering so close Robin could feel it. No. I am asking. That's what... I'm asking you to not make me ask. I'm asking you not to ask. To not make me choose, sometimes. Sometimes I just need you to choose. For me.

Summary
"It's my job, Robin," Nancy mumbled. It was a weak and unconvincing argument, evidenced by the way she stretched her arms up over her head, her back cracking, her neck bent back just so. Her throat exposed and asking to be kissed.
Robin kissed it, and Nancy whined in weak protest. Robin kissed her neck again, higher up, by her too tense jaw, and again by her perfect little ear.
"It's my job to take care of you," Robin whispered in that ear, and she felt Nancy agree in the way her whine ground down into a content hum. "And it's also two in the morning. Come to bed, nerd."

Summary
"Who do you think about?" Nancy asked again. She held the pillow out to Robin, and she watched her take it, felt the weight of it change hands and watched Robin sit up just enough to slide it back in behind her, watched her head settle back down.
Robin scrunched her face up a little. It meant, Nancy thought, that she knew the answer, and that she didn't want to say it. It meant that she would say it anyway. So Nancy just waited and watched her decide. She swallowed, and looked back at Nancy and shook her head. She laughed, not like a joke at all really. Like a challenge.
"What if I said I thought about you?" Robin asked, finally, the eye contact almost unbearable now even after that brief reprieve. "What would you do?"
