Summary
During his tournament race against Joe, Langa doesn't understand what goes wrong or why his chest feels so painfully hollow; he only knows that he suddenly stops caring about winning. Joe wins their race by a huge margin--an outcome that clearly annoys Adam, who ends the tournament abruptly and leaves soon after. When Langa receives a text from Adam the following day, he immediately remembers the way his heart had pounded during their previous race, and hopes that a rematch will relight his passion for skating... and take his mind off of the painful fact that Reki is still avoiding him.
Unfortunately, Adam has a very different evening planned for them.
