Summary
No one is surprised when Party Poison’s name is read out on reaping day. They’re a killjoy sympathiser, it was only a matter of time.
In Zone 3 the rebellion is an open secret. It was supposed to have died out years ago, when the Helium Wars ended and they wiped Zone 7 off the map. It was supposed to have ended when Better Living Industries set up the yearly Hunger Games, to remind the Zones that Battery city is the only thing standing between them and total annihilation. But annihilation comes in many forms, and keeping a dying animal breathing isn’t necessarily a kindness.

It's night time, and the two of them stand on the rooftop. The boy who is not yet Party Poison, and the boy who will never get to be Neon Phoenix. It's the second tallest skyscraper in battery city, and from here they can see everything. Everything except the stars, but those aren't worth looking at. They're rubbish. Better Living's trash, tossed up into the sky when it isn't wanted on the ground anymore, and why look at trash when there's the light of a perfect city.

Party has wings, Cherri is a menace and the Phoenix Witch is obsessed with both of them. This is like 3 different au's rolled into 1 'cause I went fuck it we can have Angel Poison AND cyborg Poison AND backstory where they know the Phoenix Witch all at the same time.

Val Velocity does not beleive in the Pheonix Witch. It is the first real thing The Girl learns about him. He doesn't beleive in much of anything really. Neither does she, not anymore, but that's beside the point.
The point is, that Val desperately wants to be Party Poison, and she has to laugh because how could he have got it so backwards?

Summary
Five years after the war, Shiro, divorced and retired, receives a phone call from the Garrison calling him back for an urgent assignment. Lotor, disgraced and damaged beyond repair, has been found alive in the Sincline mech, after his name has been cleared of the misunderstanding that has been dubbed the Altea Affair. Secretly nursed back to health within the walls of the Garrison, he's let out, but only under the condition that he's under Shiro's direct supervision.
Shiro accepts the assignment to become Lotor's new roommate, but things get complicated when Lotor reveals he's been receiving weird dreams from Allura - the same Allura that has been supposedly dead for the past five years.
