The game Yaldabaoth had envisioned consisted of two players chosing an appointed champion to represent them.
Igor, Ever the fool, chose to believe in his masters guidance and chose the next wildcard, Akira Kurusu.
Yaldaboath meanwhile, chose a man he knew, if given the chance, would burn the world down. Making way for Yaldaboath's rule.What he didn't expect, was a third player entering this game. With no champion, no less.
But one thing he did have to offer. Guidance for a man who had seeked a new path to walk.

Summary
Ren's "Not Phantom Thief related" group chat some how has a 100% chance for some dumb shit to happen in it. Within the first 2 days of the group being made, there's already something happening. So much has happened in his life within the past week: A castle in an alternate world, a floaty ghost man by the name of Arsène, Morgana the talking cat, Kamoshida and meeting his first new friends in Tokyo.
Out of all of them, he wouldn't give up his friends or family for anything. Even if most of them are complete dumbasses, they're his group of dumbasses.
This is a Persona 5 Chatfic following the "Totally capable Phantom Thieves" throughout the year, with dumbasses doing dumbass stuff when it isn't Serious O'Clock.
Whilst this does follow the main storyline of P5, I hope to curve and bend it a little bit and add some herbs and spices here and there. And sometimes snap canon over my thigh.
Not a Royal fic yet, contains some references to it. No Strikers spoilers please

Akira Kurusu, former member of SEES, current Shadow Operative, is sent by his boss, Mitsuru Kirijo to investigate the oddly timed death of Wakaba Isshiki, as well as a growing number of those struck by an odd condition dubbed 'Mental Shutdowns'. Could this have to do with the cases of Apathy Syndrome they'd all dealt with 7 years ago? Or with what that strange figure Igor had foreshadowed, in that odd room only him and the twins could ever get into?
Pretty much a P5 fanfic of Akira having joined SEES during the events of P3. In this fic, Minako is alive and well, with her twin brother Minato serving as the seal for Nyx.

After seeing the outcome of the Trickster winning a rigged game, Lavenza and Igor give Akira another chance to avert ruin, another chance at happiness, only this time in a different reality. In this reality it’s up to Akira to rig the game in the Trickster’s favour.
