Summary
It’s March 2020 and Lockdown announcements have just reached the public. Gilan’s at University, Crowley finds himself staying with Halt indefinitely, Will and the gang face the problems of online school and friendships through a screen, and Halt’s just grateful to have his family under one roof. Maybe they’ll survive this, maybe not, but at least they have each other.

Summary
In John Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice, set in a fantasy type of medieval England, Halt is a grizzled, tough old King's Ranger with a soft heart. Will, a teenager in his third year learning to be a Ranger, is starting to perfect his skills with the longbow, tracking, unseen movement, horsemanship and all the other skills he will need to join the Ranger Corps and protect the Fief from the King's enemies and brigands. In my story, though, he has to contend with a bit of life going sideways when he gets a fever and goes blind. How will he realize his dream of becoming a King's Ranger if he can no longer see?
