Summary
After the Showdown things for the Colour Gang have settled down into a new sense of normal. Some things have changed and some things haven't, but many of the scars and traumas still linger. Summary
Three years ago, there was an unsuccessful coup on Dreamland’s monarchy. The only thing keeping Meta Knight from execution was his usefulness, and perhaps the tears of the star-child himself. In those years he remained King Dedede's knight for the purposes of protecting Dreamland and preserving his life, though he was forced to stay in the castle walls and obey Dedede's every order. It was miserable—for both of them.
And surely things would have stayed that way, were it not for the crashing of an alien ship and the interruption of a picnic neither of them had wanted to attend.
OR
Dedede and Meta Knight learn not to hate each other via the common goal of hating Magolor and wanting to protect their respective children.
