This piece is a sequel to ‘Found among the strays’. I felt like that story was getting really long, so I decided to continue it as shorter works focused on one story line/issue. If you want to read one of them without reading an almost 240K fic first, I wouldn’t blame ya. If that is the case, you can read the notes for a sum up of all relevant information you need for the specific story and also which chapters of the main fic would make the reading experience better.
