In an alternate world, based off of the current modern times, Mikhail Santana is an unimpressive 19 year old working towards an education to better his future. On one particular visit to his morning classes, he has an otherworldly encounter with an aggressive creature that attempts to take his life before it had ever truly begun. Though the encounter is equally sudden as it is brutal, his life is seemingly renewed by assistance from an unknown organization. Through all of this and after, Mikhail could only wonder; why him--and what exactly had he been pulled into on that fateful morning?

Summary: What if Wise rejects Harumasa’s confession, and the latter’s mind spirals down into depression?
Note: This is my first work and also my first attempt at writing so any criticism is deeply appreciated. Additionally, English is not my native language so please expect errors. Lastly, this series was written before updates 1.6 and 1.7. As a result, many things, such as The Order that I initially interpreted, are outdated and don't align with the game anymore.
Update 22/8/2025: I encourage you all not to read this story. It's been a while since I made any adjustments/revisions to it, and frankly, I don't think I want to update it anymore. I feel cringe whenever I reread it cause what was I thinking back then?
