Summary
Everyone is cured and the battle has ended, however, the universe is collapsing all around him and there seems to be no way to stop it, not without a sacrifice. Between his life and the lives of those he loves, Peter doesn't hesitate to ask to disappear. So he swings into the sunrise, sure of his incoming death, only to open his eyes to a world he doesn't recognize.
Gotham is a different kind of hell and Peter can now use this second chance at life to learn how to live it in.

His entire life is an unstoppable chain of tests and punishments sent his way to avenge some kind of wrong-doing at a cosmic level and he doesn’t even know who or what caused it to start in the first place but he would very much like it to stop. Preferably, before he’s dead.

Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”

Right. He needed to focus.
“Little Wing?” Dick’s tone lost the harshness to it, as if sensing that Jason was teetering on the edge. He could always tell when Jason needed the grounding. He always knew. Could feel it from a mile away.
“Dick, I think…I think you have a son.”He closed his eyes, surrendering to the darkness. He forced his heartbeat to slow, and an eerie calmness washed over his thoughts. The last image that flickered through his mind was Aunt May’s lifeless eyes.
Peter hoped he wouldn’t wake up again.
