Summary
It’s not like it was his brother’s fault– of course it wasn’t Sae’s fault, not the first time that petal sat in a splatter of blood in their sink and not the last time. How could it be because of him?
Itoshi Rin centric and POV angst. Rin develops (familial) Hanahaki after Sae leaves for Spain, an exploration of his perspective on life and relationship with others. Both pre-Blue Lock to during Blue Lock. (Also keep in mind that this IS Rin's perspective, and he is a somewhat unreliable narrator. Sae's actions and words will seem more harsh and cruel as it's RIN who's interpreting them.)

Summary
Rin is missing, whether dead or alive, buried or burned, he is missing. OR: Maybe, just maybe, he's been looking in the wrong direction all along, chasing something that would never give him peace. Maybe it was never Rin who was gone. Maybe it was him all this time.
