Summary
The CyNari/KaveTham Étoile AU nobody asked for but I wanted.
Dunyarzad and Ayato are the Directors of twin ballet companies, both struggling with the realities of money slipping away from the arts and pressure from their wealthy families to focus on legacy rather than innovation. They decide to commit to an outlandish PR stunt, with the surprising support of their parents (which could not be without strings).
Tighnari, a famous Parisian star, is brought to New York and has to find a partner who can reignite his passion for his craft. Every one he’s offered as a partner fails to match him in skill or mind, until the one person he finds shows no interest in returning to the sport that is Tighnari’s entire world.
In exchange, Kaveh is sent away from his tiny apartment and forced into a new world in Paris. He’s always been comfortable without change, but now he’s forced to work with a choreographer who acts like he understands dance better than a dancer. One who wants to change his entire style.
With pressure from two countries bearing down on them all, will the infamous Swap bring all the benefits Ayato thinks? Or will Dunyarzad be forced to tuck tail and admit her parents were right?
