Fuck, he’s miserable.

Once they were settled Evan looked over only to be greeted by the most gorgeous man he had ever seen in his life.
They made eye contact and the man smiled at him, showing off perfect teeth and expressive brown eyes, the olive green of his jacket making them pop. His arms were lazily draped over the bar, poles in hand.
“Hey.” The man said.
“Hey.” Evan replied.
“Well, looks like you’re stuck with me for the next ten minutes Evan, sorry to crash your solo ride.”
“H-how do you know my name?” He asked, feeling very flustered.
The man chuckled, his eyes crinkling with it, “You’re wearing a name badge.” He reminded him. Shit, of course, his name badge, “I’m Eddie, in case you were wondering.”

After leaving home Buck moves to the mountains and begins a new life in the snow, only to meet a cute skier on a broken down chairlift.
Years later they meet again, this time at a fire station in LA.
