Summary
Yue Qingyuan, formerly Yue Qi, woke up from his death in ‘Proud Immortal Demon Way’, back to when he was a slave in Qiu Manor with Shen Jiu.
Fortunately, he came back in time before he ran away to Cang Qiong. Unfortunately, while he had decades-old memories of cultivation. His young and malnourished body is unable to use them when he wishes to free Shen Jiu from being locked in the cell.
Now, armed with a decade’s worth of memories of past-future demise, Yue Qi vows to do better in honor of Shen Jiu whom he left behind in his past life. He starts by not making a vow that he will come back to rescue Shen Jiu. Thinking back, it was a selfish vow to make Yue Qi feel like a hero.Unknowingly, chained Shen Jiu to Qiu Manor for no valid reason when he could easily run away long ago. Especially when Yue Qi is the reason that Shen Jiu is sold as a slave in the first place.

When he woke up it was to the odd sound of crying.
“What the-” he tried to say, the taste of blood still thick in his mouth. His body ached, his vision was blurry, every muscle protested at his weak attempt to slowly standing up.
When he finally managed to pull himself up from the dirt, he decided to investigate the sound.
Resting on the bud of the flower a child was resting, small, red-faced, and wailing, as if the world had already wronged it.
Mission: routine.
Outcome: a baby formed from a plant that drained Shen Jiu’s qi and blood.
Plan: don’t let anyone notice.
Reality: chaos, sleepless nights, and the slow realization that maybe, just maybe, he’s already the baby’s parent.I decided that the fandom didn't have enough of mamajiu's fics, so here i am! Writing a new one!
