Summary
The kid pauses to take a breath and shove some food in his mouth, and Jack finally sees Sammy in the doorway. “Hey, dude,” he says. He gestures at the kid and adds, “This is Ben.”
Ben waves at him. Ben has a mop of sweaty curls, a baby face, and is wearing one of Jack’s shirts and, Sammy assumes, a pair of Jack’s boxers. Ben is still shovelling cereal into his face even as his cheeks bulge like a chipmunk’s. Ben is half a head shorter than Jack sitting on the counter, which must mean he's absolutely tiny standing on his feet. Ben looks fucking twelve years old.
“Right,” Sammy says, and then, “You are so lucky Lily isn't here.”
(Ben and Jack hook up during Ben's last year of college. Sammy gains a best friend, a confidant, and an entirely too enthusiastic leader of the Get Sammy and Jack To Start Dating bandwagon.)

"Where are you?" Peter demands without thinking about it. He doesn't mean it in a so I can come find you and drag you home where you belong way, more of a just curious way, but it comes out kind of wrong. And at any rate, there will always be some element of the former in Peter's interactions with Neal. It's just how things are.
"Oh, now, that would be telling, Peter." Neal sounds like he's enjoying this. Peter would smack him, if he weren't so far away.
-----When his anklet finally comes off, Neal needs to see the world again. Peter and Elizabeth amass a collection of very interesting postcards and artifacts.

But if the Tardis is so tricky, and humans aren’t psychic enough to register, isn’t that a little like only opening your eyes when you’re standing in a dark room anyway?”Humans may be social creatures but Time Lords are telepathic ones, and being on the run from his own people has left the Doctor in a rather isolated psychic state. Retiring to the Tardis library after their latest adventure, he inadvertently tells Jamie about his telepathic abilities, and despite his attempts to make light of it, Jamie's curiosity is not so easily satisfied. The Doctor's worried about scaring him off, but Jamie has decided he wants to play a more active role in understanding.
