Tim does put some space between him and Dick this time, all too aware of how nauseating his pheromones are when they rot like this. As if a carton of milk was left open in the summer heat. Tim knows what it means for Jason to spend the night with Mr. Wayne and it jolts terror through him like he was injected with it. Thinking about what Jason had to endure last night while Tim was selfishly taking advantage of his big brother is enough to make vomit rise in the back of his throat. It’s only the thought of Dick attempting to clean up the mess that stops him from actually throwing up.
Dick sits up, scent pumping out purposefully calm and soothing, the honey taking on an earthier sort of cadence. It does nothing to ease the overwhelming guilt flooding through Tim. This is his fault, he knows it just as surely as he knows that he’s a bad pup. A bad boy. A bad friend who got Jason alone with Mr. Wayne, in his bed.
Tim’s Daddy doesn’t have a nest, but he’s sure it’s all the same.

Summary
After Bruce returns from being lost in the timestream, Tim is feeling distinctly discarded. He's not talking to any of the other Bats or Birds. That is until a rogue forces him to return to the Manor due to the nature of his injuries. A few days of being cooped up in the Manor, Tim crashes out and tells everyone EXACTLY what he was feeling.

Tucking his phone away, Damian glances up just in time to see one of the only other park patrons gathering her things from the far bench and getting up. The motion is a little clumsy, and he watches the unmistakable form of a wallet slip out and fall to the path behind her.
Quickening his step, he glances ahead for somewhere to hook Titus’ leash so he won’t have to run up on her with a sprinting Great Dane. Dropping the handle of the leash over the nearest spoke, he calls a quick command to stay and dashes for the discarded wallet. Scooping it off the ground, he jogs up to the woman, moving into her eye-line rather than trying to touch her.
“Excuse me, ma’am, you—” he tries, but stops short when her eyes abruptly bulge like they’re trying to pop out of her skull.
“You-! You little thief!”

Blüdhaven was going through a rough patch with a lot of villains deciding to settle down there instead of Gotham. Shocker. No seriously, shocker. It was really strange and Dick has been stressed out of his mind trying to figure out if there's some sort of big deal going on. First, it was Black Mask, then Joker. And some other not super important villains but still villains also seemed to migrate over to his city.
It was starting to piss him off.
That reached a boiling point when Bruce, in his subtle ways, helped. (Because he's emotionally repressed but not an asshole.) By expanding his patrol route a bit into Blüdhaven, not enough to completely intersect Dick’s but enough so Bruce could help where he could. And it's not like this was randomly prompted because Bruce found out somehow, no. It's because Dick had been complaining to him about everything and he guessed Bruce wanted to help his way.
But Dick, being stressed and mad and just emotional for no reason.
Had gotten mad.
Really mad.
And took it all out on Bruce,
His guardian.
His father.

His torso launched up into a sitting position as a batarang left his hands and dug into the old wooden frame right as a shadow ducked and rolled out of the way. It emerged by the window next to the barely open curtains and Bruce finally saw the figure's silhouette.

"Hey," Jason says, poking his head in through the door, making sure his body is angled so that there's no way the boy inside will be able to see Bruce.
That's as far as he gets before he falters.
The boy inside the dim-lit cell is tucked as far back into the corner of the cot as he can get, scrawny limbs wrapped around himself like the curled husk of a spider. His teal eyes are locked on Jason, but he doesn't move — not even a flinch.
He's as perfectly frozen as a bird in the brush as a hound sniffs closer.
Jason swallows, his throat abruptly so tight it's hard to breath. He's not sure either of them are.
The boy's eyes flick just a fraction past him, to the open cave beyond. One of them is surrounded by a dark bruise.
Jason steps cautiously into the cell, closing the door behind him, and watches his own eyes dim as his escape route closes.
