The little boy who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time and for not a second longer. He'd never been identified successfully, so everyone called him Ghost.

David took a step closer, holding out his hand uncertainly, like she was a deer he was afraid would bolt. She felt like a deer, frozen in the headlights of his warm, bright gaze.
“I don’t want to fix you,” he repeated. He moved close enough to stroke her cheek, cup the side of her face in his hand. “Or change you. All I want is to be with you -- exactly like this. The way you are, right now.”
Tears stung her eyes, made him dissolve into a soft blur of her favorite colors. She looked away and took a deep, shaky breath. “Why?” she whispered, leaning into his palm. She knew she had to shove him away, tear the two of them apart with daggers until he learned to stop believing in her, but she was tired.
Tired, and so relieved to feel his touch it hurt.
He sighed but didn’t say anything until she turned back to him, the tears clinging to her lashes giving way and spilling down her cheeks. One of them skated into the divot his thumb made against her skin and he brushed it away gently, automatically. The look on his face was somewhere between awe and resignation, the bitter twist of his mouth so harsh against his soft, wide eyes. “Because I’m in love with you.”

A story that takes place in 2008, ten years after the end of Animianiacs!. It looks at the lives of some of the stars of the show — the Warners, Minerva Mink, and Hello Nurse in particular. Romance is likely, familial bonding and strife guaranteed.

Olan is just here for a good time. He's never taken much in life seriously besides drinking and archery. His only real relationship was a sham that lasted over a decade-- but maybe he just wasn't mature enough to fall in love before now? Or maybe he's just obsessed to the point of self-destruction. It's hard to tell when you're always drunk.
