Harry Potter dies. His mother goes mad with grief. She hunts down Death and pleads for the return of her son. Not knowing what Death looks like, she mistakes Death's curious Master as Death himself. To her benefit, Harry Potter (who does not reveal his identity, but you'll guess it anyway so I don't feel bad spoiling) is all too happy to help her kidnap Harry Potter from another universe to be raised by Lily and James.
Lighthearted with moodiness (because I can't not include angst in my fics). I've had the idea turning around in my head for awhile and decided I might as well start writing it. I mean really -- what chaos could a tiny Master of Death cause in a world where he doesn't belong?

Two visitors, from a very different magical realm, a world of "Swords and Sorcery", finding themselves in the world of Harry Potter, are unlikely to tolerate stupidity, as shown by the likes of Draco Malfoy, or the hubris of Dumbledore. Unlike occasional other magical visitors to appear in Hogwarts, like Bugs Bunny and some of his friends, these visitors are not content to entertain the masses while merely humiliating the deserving. Their many edged weapons, always sharp enough to shave with, have kept them alive at home, and they are quick to be used here. A bit of Sorcery is not beyond their use, either, but cold sharp iron settles disputes so efficiently.

Summary
Harry looks up at the ceiling of his new room, it feels… wrong. The sheer size of the bedroom that was now supposed to be his, looming threateningly around him. It feels more like a cage than the cupboard, with the iron bars on the window and the cat flap and bolts on the door.
The room is completely bare apart from a small single bed and an old wardrobe.
He misses his cupboard. That’s not a sentence he ever thought would cross his mind - but it’s true nonetheless.
He had grown accustomed to it over the years, the tight space had become kind of like a pocket of safety. It’s where they threw him in the aftermath, it’s where he recovers. It gave him the comforting illusion of safety (much like a rabbit would feel hidden away in a burrow believing it is protected even though a predator prowls above ready to dig them out).
This room gives him none of that. It’s big enough so Vernon can come in and terrorise him as much as he pleases and it’s easier than ever for them to simply lock him in here, forget about him, and let him slowly rot away.
It was supposed to be an improvement.
He feels more trapped than ever before.
