Summary
Stanley Pines didn't expect much from his life after he was kicked to the streets. A constant chase for an impossible dream, to win millions, to reconnect with his brother again.
As far as he could tell, life was one mistake after the other, one punch to the face and bullet to his side, shady people and others who just don't care if he lives or dies. This was life, an unchangeable fact of the universe, something that was written in the stars from the moment he was born.
And then a little boy who holds the stars on his forehead appeared. 12 minutes and 17 seconds later, a little girl as bright as the sun joined him. From that moment on, life became magical again.
He fully expected to never see his brother again, that was an unchangeable fact of life not even his two most precious lights of his life can change.
Then the postcard came.

Summary
Stanley Pines, after being kicked out at 17, thought life couldn't get any worse.
Two years later, he was proved wrong.
Stuck as a cat, Stan somehow makes his way back to Glass Shard and gets adopted by his older brother Shermie, who takes him back to the Pawn shop, where they'll be staying for a while.
With no thumbs, no voice, and a weird tension between his family members, Stan doesnt know what to do. His family seems to be breaking, and he isn't sure he can fix it.
But when he finds his mother crying in the middle of the night, clutching a family photo to her chest, he resolves to try.
