Isabela was happy. At least, Julieta thought she was. She was going on dates. Exploring. Creating. She had even stocked up Julieta's kitchen with so many useful herbs for so many different illnesses and problems!
No one ever imagined the perfect flower of the Encanto was still struggling with herself after Casita was rebuilt. She was Isabela after all. She did everything effortlessly, why should this be different?
Julieta discovers just how much her eldest daughter hurts. Pepa saves her, but Isabela still won't wake up. Juli's food isn't working, either. Should she give everyone in la familia the notes Isabela wrote for each of them? Or should she have hope that the medical doctor knows what he's doing and can save her baby?
UPDATE: Isabela desperately wants to find Bruno. Bruno continues blaming himself, guilt eating at him so much he chooses to hide in the forest instead of facing it.

Summary
Alma Madrigal wasn't sure what was going on with the magic doors. Especially when her eldest hija, Julieta, touched her door and it vanished. Why would Pedro give them doors, then take them away? Alma soon discovers it's just Julieta when Pepa and Bruno both receive magic from their doors. Over the years, Julieta watches her children receive Gifts, her sobrinos, and has a hard time. Agustin is there for her, but it hurts to watch her children distance themselves from her.
After her sobrino Camilo has a vision the very same night of his Gift Ceremony, Julieta knows she has to do something. Camilo's vision shows Casita, shattered. The house is falling, and standing right there, in orange glass, was Julieta herself. She would destroy Casita, unless she does something to save the Miracle. How can a dejected and lonely woman save a Miracle that's been in danger for nearly 40 years?
I have yet to see a Giftless Julieta AU. Also Gift Swap, because why not. The healing Gift does not exist here. There is a reason for that.
