Summary
Little known fact: Midoriya Izuku is a horror movie buff.
Katsuki knows this. When they were kids, they watched "Coraline" together. Izuku enjoyed the movie, enraptured and delighted, while Katsuki acted tough and unbothered as usual. After, when Izuku was asleep, Katsuki had cuddled up close, seeking comfort and protection from malicious stop-motion puppets.
Now Izuku is finally back in the dorms at UA, safe from his villain hunt. The class pleads with him to do something fun to relax. They suggest a movie night with a film of his choice.
Katsuki watches a horror film with Izuku for the first time in over a decade. Will he still need Izuku at his side to sleep afterwards?

Summary
This is my canonverse AU where I explore dkbk's relationship (mostly) post-canon. My AU operates on the following assumptions:
- In the manga, dkbk become real friends and hero partners as they work to defeat Shigaraki and AFO
- The story ends with them defeating Shigaraki and AFO
- Both Deku and Bakugou live through the battle and keep their quirks
- They're still on track to becoming pro heroes and are completing/will complete their UA education
- Neither of them ends up in a relationship in the canon story (looking at you, IzuOcha and KiriBaku)
