After Stelle reluctantly helped Kafka after the events of the Luofu’s Stellaron crisis, she is left with the truth that she gleaned from Kafka’s game. She is more than aware that the middle of the Divination Commission is not a good place for a breakdown, but her body seems to have other plans. Fortunately, with the help of Yanqing, Mr. Yang, and the rest of the Astral Express Crew, it works out anyway.

March’s voice jolts her out of her thoughts. “I think… I might have an idea.” She gently releases her grasp, rummaging through the inside of her jacket for something. “Remember a bit ago how we caught, um, Evernight in a lightcone?” She fishes out a lightcone, glowing faintly in the murky light of the room. “It’s not perfect, but…”
Stelle drags herself up enough to see the lightcone in question—inside is a younger version of March herself, smiling and holding a plushie in her room. She can’t help but glance between the girl in the memory and the girl in the present, and she chokes down the rising ache.
Along the side are the words, ‘Day One of my New Life!’
Having put everything in place for their fight, the Astral Express who are stuck in the depths of Amphoreus can do nothing but wait for the dominoes to start their cascade. Time enough to rest and be safe, even just for a couple hours.
Each of them has changed so much since they first met. But nothing could ever change who they are to each other.
