As it's known, dragons don't usually like staying around mortals for many reasons, some of them being: Dragons live longer than the mortal races (It's dumb to try and befriend them knowing you'll lose them in no time); another one is that mortals, surprisingly, have a very bad habit of hunting dragons for no reason, or demonizing them, so they never take the risk. These, and many others, make dragons avoid the other races.
