Dream felt a blush on his cheeks and he quickly pulled his sweatpants up with one hand.
"Uh, here," Dream said, handing his controller over to George.
George stared at Dream's large, veiny hands, with a green bracelet hanging idly from his wrist.
George grabbed the PlayStation controller, their fingers grazing in the exchange.

Summary
George catches himself smiling at his screen and almost feels embarrassed by how little it’s taken for his mood to shift. For whatever reason the employee’s friendliness is contagious, and George no longer feels quite so irritated. It’s almost possible to forget about his shattered laptop screen and the plethora of issues it’s going to cause him within the next week, now that talking to the employee has begun to feel like he’s just talking to a friend.
or; George breaks his laptop, is severely frustrated by Apple's customer service, and finds something he'd never thought to look for in the process.

It didn’t sit right with George that Dream would be punished because of something he had done. What would be the harm, anyway, if they let people believe it?
"If it will get you that much shit, then just don't tell them,” he said. “Things blow over eventually, right?"
Dream cocked his head to the side. "What do you mean, not tell them? They think we're together - this is not something I can push under the rug.”
George gestured aimlessly with his hand. It made perfect sense to him. "Why not? I mean, people do it all the time. No comment. "You wanna tell him Tubbo?" Fundy called.
Tubbo looked up from the board, looking at Fundy then George.
"Tell him what?" Tubbo said.
"Why he shouldn't have taken the challenge from Clay," Fundy said.
"Oh," Tubbo said. "I saw Clay with the Botez sisters at the cafe near Spruce St yesterday. They were playing chess."
Okay. Maybe now George is a little scared.

George always hated Clay. He was always bothering George, being loud in the library, trying to distract him by sitting next to him in class, always asking what George got in their latest test. George wanted nothing to do with him.
That was until Clay decided to challenge George into an official chess match, which by their club rules, is challenging George's position as head of the chess club.
In completely unrelated events, George has also been passing notes back and forth with a secret admirer called Dream for the past few months, and he's pretty convinced he's crushing pretty bad.
