Summary
Even before the Jaeger boy arrived, Mikasa had been warned against getting involved with him. “He’s one of those boys who’s just trouble,” her mother had murmured, low so her father couldn’t hear the secrets that women shared with each other while they washed dishes – the warnings and intimacies that could be hidden underneath the sound of running water. Her father would’ve disagreed if he’d heard; he claimed that Grisha’s kid was good deep down, just misunderstood.

Summary
“Mom I don’t need a fuc- I don’t need a babysitter.”
Despite Eren correcting himself, Carla’s keen ears heard his use of almost profanity (much to her displeasure), so she reacted accordingly by pulling his ears.
“Ah! Ah! Ma.”
“Don’t you tell me what to do, clearly you aren’t responsible enough to remain home alone, so you’ll be getting a babysitter and she’ll be coming tomorrow.”
Or
In which Mikasa is an 17 y/o Eren’s ‘babysitter’ (much to his displeasure) yet somehow that turned into girlfriend?

Summary
“Why did you come?” he says. “The chimera, with all their doors, don’t track their mud in here. This world is no place for monsters.”
“Neither,” says Eren, “is mine. That’s what I’m here for.”
The old man laughs. Hard. “Oh?” he says. “Taking one monster out of your world to put it in ours?”
If he thinks he can hurt Eren by calling him a monster, he’s wrong. Eren knows good and well what he is. And he knows good and well what had made him into this.
***
Mikasa is a human art student who spends her evenings trading teeth for wishes on behalf of the semi-human monsters who raised her. Eren is a bastard soldier from another world on a vengeance quest to end a war. They meet in the middle, and their relationship begins with blood.
From there it gets more complicated.

Summary
“So Mikasa chose to be understanding, wanting to still be his friend- after all, when he didn’t get into those broody moods, he was fair to her. And even if she didn’t completely understand him, at least she’d be nice. After all, there might be ‘something’ inside Eren, the doctor told her once before in confidence. A great power, a darkness, that makes him the way he is.
And that logic seemed to align with what Papa said about young boys needing to get ‘something’ out of their system.”
After a couple of years of lost contact under mysterious circumstances, the doctor’s son suddenly makes his way back into Mikasa’s life.
What’s changed with Eren?
