Buck loves him like this. He loves him anyway he can get him of course, but this man...the man who got so scared of how much he loved Buck, afraid to show who he really was for fear that Buck wouldn’t love him that he ran, to the man who came back at Buck’s door three days later, near tears and begging for forgiveness to the man who proposed six months later over Mexican food, unplanned because he just couldn’t help himself...this man who he married on the beach in front of their family and friends, who’s still slowly learning that, not only is it okay to be himself, but that Buck loves him unconditionally for all of it…this man who lets Buck in, who looks so relaxed and happy right now that Buck knows he would do damn near anything to keep him that way.
Or: Tommy asks to start exploring some kink in bed. Buck is determined to give him exactly what he wants.

Summary
He’s just finished changing and is closing his locker when his phone on the bench goes off. Picking it up, he sees it's from Tommy and smiles softly to himself, assuming he’s just checking on his ETA.
But it’s not. Instead, it’s a simple, no word, text. 🖤🖤🖤
Buck can feel his eyes widen as he looks at it, their signal. They’ve been finding it hard to just be together for the last few weeks, even though they live together now, conflicting schedules making it difficult to do much more than crawl into bed next to each other after exhausting shifts.
Tonight is their first night off together in so long and Buck wasn’t sure what he’d been expecting. A quiet night in, Tommy had mentioned a new recipe he’d been wanting to try. Maybe some sweet lovemaking later that night. Buck has been looking forward to it.
But this...this changes the direction of the evening completely.
Or: Tommy wants Buck to use him. Buck is more than happy to give him what he wants.

Summary
He supposes it starts on a random Monday morning. He's brushing his teeth when Tommy gets out of the shower. He watches with undisguised appreciation as Tommy towels himself off efficiently, scrubs at his head with a towel and wrapping that towel around his waist as he drops a sweet kiss to Buck's cheek. Buck spits and sits back to watch as Tommy takes the hairdryer to his hair and when he's done, Buck notices just a few more grays on his temple. He can't help himself, and reaches over to touch a fingertip to the spot.
Or: Buck notices Tommy's hair is getting grayer and he loves it.

“Be honest with me,” Buck said, arms crossed, “do you think Tommy is seeing someone else?”
Ravi choked. “What?”
“I’m serious. He keeps sneaking off with his phone.”
Ravi wiped his mouth and gave Buck a look. “Buck. Buddy. That man has stolen two helicopters for you.”
Buck waved it off. “Light domestic terrorism aside, I’m just saying something’s up. You think maybe he’s bored? I’ve been working tons of doubles lately so I haven’t had time for my normal gym routine. I think my butt’s gotten flat.”
“Tommy talks about your butt like it’s a religious experience.”
