    Summary

For the first time in years, everything felt like it was returning to normal.

With her friends now gone and the last Freddy’s location having been burnt to the ground, Abby finds herself continuing on as if those animatronics were a thing of the distant past. She has her moments, of course. Moments where she really wishes that her friends were still around. But it’s okay. She knows they’ll be okay.

She’s doing better. Mike’s doing better, finally getting himself back up on his feet now that there aren't any vengeful spirits around anymore. Vanessa is also doing better–coming around to see how Abby is growing. Her and Mike don’t talk as much as they used to, but they seem to have come to a more comfortable middle ground.

All-in-all, everything seems to be doing so much better.

    There’s just…one thing.

    Mike’s new boyfriend, Michael Afton.

    "His New Boyfriend" by TheGreatDezzy

This is a fun portrayal of Miketosis and Abby, wherein the latter absolutely despises Michael. Fun hijinks ensue.

Poor Abby...if devious Daniel suddenly waddled into my house with intent to stay there, I'd also be petrified and pissed off that my brother would let him in in the first place.

Michael is such a freak for belittling / picking on a child, what is genuinely wrong with this guy. You can't expect less from a guy with such eyebrows... Alas, you also can't expect anyone to feel sympathy for his open secret getting exposed: sugar in coffee.

The part where they were bonding was really wholesome, though. The Afton expertise finally came in handy, simultaneously mending a bond that had never been in the first place.

Abby repeatedly had the upper hand in each and every situation, even when Mike was part of the equation...she must be the matriarch of the Schmidt-household!!!

    "ItsFunneh-YHS: Continued" by UmmPati

This is a really well-written and or interesting take on what could've happened after the most recent (saying last hurts my soul to this day) YHS episode. This is a beautiful homage to a Minecraft Roleplay, that shouldn't have been as enjoyable as it was.

It's not an unwelcome surprise to see more perspectives, other than that of Funneh and Yandere being written about. It gives all the characters more depth than in the original, which makes for a great read.

I really like the way that the tone was darker than in the source material, it being a kids show and all, although death did keep on haunting the narrative in the OG. The scene in the "murder basement" for instance, the tongue-cutting and all of that shebang.

The characterizations are fabulous! That segment wherein Funneh and Kyran were arguing about the color notebooks should be, felt very ItsFunneh reminiscent, it's something I could definitely picture occurring during the series.

The fact some that were brushed off initially, gained a bit more screentime in this one is nice. I'll have to thank you for this one author, Celeste, Evelyn and Elijah could've been so much than what they were given. Prince too, I suppose. I've never really liked him that much in the original, as he was just there to be a rival(?) to Kyran, or something along the lines of that. Him actually being a person was pretty cool, I do wonder what his story is, though...

In all honesty this is all I could've asked for and more from a continuation of YHS, the approach you took to writing the story felt very authentic, as if all of this would've taken place back in 2017 and onwards. This series is and will forever be my childhood, it's nice to see it be respected in a way like this.

Live, Laugh, Love, Kyran. That guy surely does deserve some more of that...

    Summary

Michael Afton vowed to find his father. Following his father's trail, he went from location to location, helping the restless souls of the murdered children to move on and keeping a dangerous job out of the hands of poor, unsuspecting part-timers. And for the most part, he'd been successful...until Jeremy. Michael didn't think he'd ever forgive himself for letting Jeremy get dragged into this mess. Turns out Jeremy is thrilled to finally have someone else help in his investigation of William Afton, the murderer of a case which he now finds himself strangely compelled to solve. Unfortunately for Michael, this means entrusting his life and his search for his father into the hands of someone he can't even trust with his own name.

or, basically fnaf 2 and 3 but if Jeremy was there.

"Some Things Are Best Left Forgotten" by CherriColaSunrise

Contrary to the title, I believe that this piece shouldn't be left forgotten. Speaking of the said title... It's absolutely perfect and extremely fitting, considering the subjects(?), themes(?), storyline(?) that this fic handles/follows. Once more, genius, I literally got it just now writing this stupid paragraph.

At first I was quite sceptical of the story, but when I finally got around to reading this story, I was absolutely flabbergasted. I adore your writing style, as well as how you've interpreted our main leads: Jeremy Fitzgerald and Michael "Mike, Gabriel, Fritz" Afton. Slow burns will forever be the death of me... This combo is hurt/comfort at best. I wonder how long it'll take for Mike to reveal his true identity, the fact that he doesn't appear to have one, to Jeremy at keast, is such an interesting display of his character.

These two are the greatest tag-team duo of all time, change my mind. They go from being able to survive / aid one another in, albeit, silly ways; the ambulance scene, and one Michael Afton allegedly vaulting over a railing >10 ft. To perfect synchronicity, I love their chemistry, and the way they've been written.

A fever dream indeed! I love how you've managed to incorporate the FNAF 3 minigames to get some bits of the plot going, I enjoyed the dream sequences quite a lot, even if I barely was able to process what the heck I was reading.

A piece(?) of Charlie being with Jeremy is an interesting concept, Charlie just showing up in random reflections to talk with the guy is epic, I love things like that. It was also quite fun to see in action, even if both parties were working each other up, with both parties I mean Charlie, due to the fact that she was/is quite assertive to Jeremy, who was just trying to aid her.

Chapter 9, "Familiar Discoveries" hits extremely hard. I genuinely cannot imagine all of the emotions Mike must've festered while seeing Jeremy just keep up digging up 'familiar' relics of the past. Jeremy finding a picture of the Afton children, with Mike scratched out, in and of itself truly explains the man's resentment against Mike. As well as the way he acted upon seeing Mike at Fazbear's Fright as Springtrap, the depravity you were able to portray within just a few sentences was gracious.

The meeting between father and son was also something, I was at the edge of my seat for the whole time. The dialogue you write is genuine class, thought is being put into the structure of a sentence to make a reader feel a specific way, and I absolute love how scenes can go from 1 to 100 within a few sentences, without it being cluttered / difficult to read.

The "Angst with a Happy Ending" tag better do its job right, or else I will RIOT (In a good way! Whatever direction this story will take, I am far too deep and invested to stop now. I'm seated.)

"San Francisco" by wildforwyld / thequack

Possibly the Jeremike story of all time. I consider this a must-read for any and all self-proclaimed Jeremikers out there. I also consider this one of, if not, the best slow burn I've ever read, the build-up is incredibly beautiful, I'm unable to put into words how much I adore this story.

The sibling dynamics are insane, the character development as well. How have they gone from mild semi-hostility to chapter 17? It's astounding and wow, chapter 17... that one will be showing up in my nightmares (affectionate).

I'm usually not one for enemies to lovers, though I might have to reconsider solely because of this work. Reading Jeremy and Michael go at each other's throats was entertaining and simultaneously unfortunate, I could only feel for the both of them.

This story is the epitome of an emotional rollercoaster.

Michael Afton will have the best day ever in one chapter, and in the very next he will be seeing the life he built up for himself crumbling down because of one man's appearance. It's cruel, but it's life the way God intended.

I loved the way each and every character was written and the way you've interpreted them. The difference in how every perspective was written too, the somber undertone Michael always had despite being gleeful or elated. Jeremy just being Jeremy, love that guy and his overwhelmingly sweet way of treating others. AND NOT HIMSELF??? Kill this man.

Kill William Afton too, how dare he make me feel things after showcasing the way he treats Michael, others and shitting the bed. The cycle... oh god... I thought it was incredibly cruel to have everything get turned up a notch in terms of angst after Michael Afton got everything he had ever been looking for...

No words, just pure admiration for this beauty and literature as a whole. The sky is the limit after all.

PLEASE KEEP WRITING!!! If I had to summarize your style of writing with just a single word, it'd have to be the word 'pretty'. Every single sentence feels meaningful, even if it was one written in passing.

    "Amnesty Verse" by awwsd

A standing pillar of modern day Jeremike, a pure serotonin, depression (and more), neatly wrapped into a little package for the lot of us.

This suddenly popping off in a world where Jeremike isn't what it used to be is the best thing ever. The drought is real, but this is like an oasis in desert. I'm satiated, seated and ecstatic for the future of this series.

The way this is written is so personal and has its charm, I don't know how to describe it exactly but its very playful and sets the tone of the main story very well.

Michael is overal perceived as some degenerate weirdo kind of guy, which is able to be seen in the way he interacts with all except his father and Jeremy. The latter's point of view showcases this nicely, as he's just a misunderstood guy in Jeremy's eyes.

Jeremy too, is odd in a different way. I love the way the two interact above all else, how they cover for one another and the like. The side-story wherein Michael met the Fitzgeralds has my heart, the fact that he'd go out of his comfort zone just for Jeremy??? Chef's kiss...

I like how the side characters like Kayla, Anise, etc have depth and their own stories. Kayla was a pushover who tried to pretend otherwise, until she actually grew a spine. While Anise had a reason to be stuck-up and treat Michael like absolute garbage.

All in all, great story. I genuinely adore the Tumblr mood boards, they made me view all of these characters in a different way, as it gave more insight on their dynamics (I'm as dense as a rock).

Jeremy and Michael, the tag-team duo of all time, I love everything about this!!!
