Summary
Cassius has always preferred to be alone since he was small. Everyone else was always so — fake — it hurt to see. It just wasn’t worth all the trouble.
He has a bad temper; he explodes into a fit of rage so often alone, he’s learned to keep his head down. It’s better than hurting anyone, and he’s always too tired to do anything.
Playtime Co is his last resort, otherwise he wouldn’t be working in a toy factory of all things. So much talking and socializing is required, especially since there are kids and parents everywhere.
He’s assigned as a Researcher in the Labs; he doesn’t know why a toy factory needs scientists, but it means he has a job, which is something he really needs right now. His boss is a man called Harley Sawyer, Dr. Sawyer as he likes to be called. Everyone else addresses him as the Doctor, he’s heard things — bad things — about the man, and honestly he can’t affirm because he’s never met the man.
He’s about to be proven wrong, or right? He didn’t expect to ever meet the man after all, and why would someone like Sawyer be interested in someone like him?

Summary
“You’re alive, aren’t you? Anything else can come later.”
Seven Red Suns and No Significant Harassment have already done the impossible together. After a long-time collaboration led to the creation of puppets that could operate outside of their structures, they were finally able to seek out Looks to the Moon to rescue her from whatever fate her structure’s collapse had brought her.
After finding her in far better condition than they could have dreamed, Suns allows themself to hope they might change fate one last time, and save Five Pebbles from the slow death they constructed for him.
They must, because Suns isn’t sure they could stand it if they don't.
