Steve had always liked most of Tony’s friends. He’d gotten along well with Rhodey and Bruce and Pepper and Natasha. He’d even gotten along reasonably well with Happy, who didn’t like anyone other than May. It had been the other side of Tony’s friend group that Steve hadn’t liked and who had, ultimately, been the wedge that broke them apart.

Steve is glaring at him. “You do the same thing.”
“What, you suddenly don’t recall me telling you my deepest darkest fears yesterday?” He replied sharply, instantly regretting it.
“I’m not sure if I’m remembering yesterday properly,” Steve says like it’s a confession.
TLDR; Tony and Steve get trapped together on a mission and share an intimate moment. Unfortunately before they can talk about it, Steve gets sick.
