“You seem to like ladybugs.” The kid nodded, his blue-green eyes fixated on the three bugs in his hand.
“They… they’re my friends.”
Leone hummed, eyes on the sunset. He and the child had waited for a couple of hours; no parents arrived. From the corner of his eye, he could see the kid smiling softly while playing with the bugs, a sight that made his heart clench in anguish; because how could someone abandon their child like that? It was unacceptable, and, in that moment, he knew he had to do something or the kid wouldn’t survive for long.
“C’mon, Coccinella, you’re coming with me to the station.”
"'Coccinella’?”
“You didn’t want to give me your name, and you like ladybugs, might as well call you one, hm?”

Giorno ran to the back, picking up a spare piece of paper and turning it into a yellow daffodil, carefully opening the safe he had in there and putting the flower alongside the protection money, smiling softly once the envelope was closed, hoping it would bring a smile to the stressed-looking albino.
The mafioso took it without checking — as he always did —, nodding at him before leaving. Giorno waved until the albino wasn’t on sight, Gold manifesting at his side and looking at him with their purple bug-like eyes that reminded him so much of the soft purple aura surrounding the mafioso, wishing a month could go by faster to see the albino again.

Screaming at the top of my lungs from how much I loved this. Always great to read some Abba and Gio bonding even if they have to be put in the worst kind of situations for that to happen (even better that way) 💚
∞/10 the end was just aaaaaaah Abba cares so much he's such a dad I love him and Gio not used to all the love and care breaks my heart in a bittersweet way ueueue 😭💚

That voice. That deep, familiar voice hovering above him from behind the back of the sofa could only belong to…
Boyfriend.
Boyfriend required conversation. But Doppio was too tired, his mouth unable to pull itself together to even string along a coherent sentence as he made a… small effort to greet the tall goth behind him. Not that it did any good, as his slurring quickly devolved into frustrated crying, causing Doppio to shove his face further into the pillow and scream as loud as he could until he felt a tiny bit better.
Screaming was cathartic like that.
“That really bad of a day, huh?”Doppio has a really bad day at work. He's tired, worn out and all he wants to do is sleep for the rest of eternity.
Too bad his boyfriend had made other plans.Series
