Summary
After the war Severus Snape was reinstated as Headmaster and in the years following he worked hard to rebuild the school and it's curriculum. Learning he had been named Lord Prince by his cousin changed little for Severus until the night of his Aunt Esmeralda's 200th birthday party.
Harry Potter left Wizarding Britain after the trials and disappeared. No one knew where he was and Harry was happy with how his life had turned out. He did not even mind being turned into a vampire and taken in by the Prince family Harry is unware of their connection to Severus Snape until he attends Lady Esmeralda's birthday party.
The night takes a turn when oblivious and alcohol impaired Severus meets a love stuck Harry who has just found his soulmate. While moving to the bedroom is consensual both men have a different idea of what is going to happen and this leads to things becoming non-consensual.
Severus is not happy with the outcome and fearing the reaction of the Governors and the Ministry to this bonding he proposes they stage an arranged marriage and Harry moves to Hogwarts.
Can Harry convince a man who has given up on love that they are meant to be?

Summary
Severus is an omega who has long since given up on finding his mate and he considered that to be a good thing, he is old he feels every one of his thirty-eight years and then some. He has no desire to birth and raise children or care for an alpha not at this point in his life.
He longs for a quiet life which he plans to have just as soon and he fulfils his obligation to Minerva to help her reestablish the school and see the eight years through their education. It will be his last task in his vow to protect Harry Potter.
However, best-laid plans and all that...Severus discovers that life is not quite done with him when he discovers he does in fact have an alpha, he has to deal with that and all the issues that brings with it.
