Instead, two weeks ago, he woke up as the sun rose, and turned to watch Scorpius sleep. It was a terrible habit that he really needed to break, but he’s nothing if not a weak man. Scorpius was drooling adorably on his pillow, his hangings half-closed, one foot poking out from underneath his duvet where he sprawled in his sleep. And in this exact moment, Albus realized that this was not going to last forever.
