Summary
Steve didn't even consider the possibility that Vecna would come after him. It simply didn't make sense. Why target him, the babysitter, when there was a whole group of traumatized kids to prey on? He spent all of his best efforts to keep them safe, yet neglected himself, in the process making himself the only viable option for Vecna to attack.
AKA, sorta character study of Steve as he gets attacked by Vecna. I'll probably write more chapters showing more specific Steddie content!!!
