Summary
Skyfire and Starscream are well known by their coworkers for three things:
1. Being incredibly smart.
2. Having loud, frequent shouting matches.
3. Sharing a scientific rivalry of an intensity only matched by their obviously amorous interest in one another.Their fellow scientists have been watching this soap opera aboard their research vessel for vorns. It's gotten stale, and they're fed up watching them dance around one another. They send the two on an expedition, but a blizzard traps both seeker and shuttle together on the planet they were sent to survey. Then Starscream, who can always be relied upon to complicate a situation, goes into heat.

(29/12/2024: I may consider rewriting this fic someday, as a gift to 16-year-old me who began writing this during the pandemic)
Stella, a young moth who grew up too fast, runs away from her veteran friends and their mundane candle runs.
The little prince, a boy with no name, wanders the starlit dunes in search of... something.
The two children's fates intersect, and they both embark on a journey together towards where they truly want to be. And as with all journeys, they too obtain something along the way.
or, my own reimagining of the tlp seasonal quests bcus the original season storyline felt too stiff imo. very loosely inspired by the season quests, so no worries about spoilers
