Summary

Summary
Logan has had his life planned out since, well, forever. Get through college, get an internship at NASA, rise through the ranks, get into space, something, something, happy ending and he’s set for life. The first couple steps were easy, out of the way in a snap. Meeting Virgil, however, kind of threw a wrench into those plans.
But it’s fine. Logan can navigate a job at NASA, flirt with a cute museum tour guide, and deal with everyone’s inexplicable hatred of Neptune at the same time. It shouldn’t be too hard—after all, it’s not like it’s rocket science.
...Well, okay, so it is kind of like rocket science. -

Lucy is fine. Or so she believed. But when Natsu finally convinces her to take up a job with him and Happy again after so long, a particular request that seemed to be written right for her to take unwittingly opens a well of bottled up emotions and demons she never wanted to face ever again. It's sink or swim, and her boisterous, self-confident and straight forward to a fault partner isn't making things any easier.

“Look, Roman-” Thomas sighed, holding the weapon nervously. “I know I told you I’d try sword fighting for you, but now I have! And I’m not good at it!” He tried a move he’d been struggling with again, before eventually dropping it.
“But Thomas, how are you going to achieve your dreams, fight dragons and witches and Virgil-”
“Uhh, why Virgil?” Patton asked.
“-No reason- without proper swordsmanship!?”Or
Virgil gets incredibly injured and Logan rages about it.

Logan looked up. Yellow. The obvious answer. Such a foolish oversight on his part. “Deceit.” he prided himself on sounding almost as if he hadn’t just been strangled. “Then this is your doing, I take it?” No surprise. No outrage. Just a cool statement of the facts. Exactly as he was meant to be.

What exactly went down between between Janus and Logan when Janus kidnapped him out of the episode? What is it that went down between them that made Janus so guilty and Logan so angry when he reappeared? The missing scene as I've chosen to imagine it between Janus and Logan before Janus appears to impersonate him.
