Summary
As grateful as the beloved star was, even he sometimes needed an escape from it all. At the end of every day, he was only human, and humans could only handle being under a never-ending spotlight for so long before needing the time and space to not only recharge, but also be seen as the individuals beneath the masks of the personas they wore.
Sometimes, he just wanted to be himself. He wanted to be Phainon, and nothing more.
Or: Phainon’s wish is granted when he befriends someone online, but between the two of them, who will be the first to figure out the other's real identity — the idol... or his fan?

Summary
A tall man with a well-built frame, dressed in a black chef coat stained with flour, walked out of the back kitchen. "Reney! Where did you put the…" He interrupted himself when his blue eyes caught Anaxa, and he sort of looked mesmerized. Then the poor guy hit his head with one of the shelves. Anaxa scrunched his nose at how loud the sound was, while Cyrene looked worried.
"Are you okay?" Both Anaxa and the girl asked at the same time.
"Yes! Sorry about that." The man smiled sheepishly while running a hand through his messy white hair. Anaxa almost snorted at how the other pretended his forehead didn't hurt from the hit.
Once Cyrene ensured the guy wasn't badly hurt, she smiled and said, "Good timing, Chef Phainon! This gentleman here wants information about wedding cake flavors."
"Oh…" Phainon sort of looked disappointed. "Congratulations," he mumbled with a smile.
Anaxa deadpanned. "It's not for me. It's for my picky brother."
Or, Anaxa only wants his brother to choose a goddamn cake for his wedding, and Phainon keeps fumbling.

Summary
“I am well aware of my mortality,” Anaxa said. “It is what drives me to ask before the asking becomes impossible.”
“And what is it you wish to ask?”
Anaxa hesitated. He had rehearsed this moment in thought but not in truth. Now, before the embodiment of everything final and inevitable, words felt fragile. Still, he pressed on.
“Why do you destroy?”
Khaslana was destruction made flesh, never meant to feel or to stay. But in loving a mortal, he found not sin — but salvation.
When a god learns to cherish the world he was meant to end, what remains of divinity?
