Summary
An AU series taking place mid-season 2 (right after Anansi) that focuses on what could have happened to Nino post his encounter with Alya's enraged sister. This spin-off contains a number of identity reveals, secrets of the past come back to haunt the wearer of the turtle miraculous, and a hidden prophecy that may just foretell a change in the balance forever. Main focus on Nino who seriously deserves more attention and love. <3
Book 1: Shell Game ~ takes place immediately after Anansi, everything that happens after is not canonically correct. Ends right after the events of Miracle Queen.
Book 2: Miraclebound ~ takes place between Gang of Secrets and Optigami with small hints to later events, somewhat canonically correct but also feeding off of the lore from Shell Game.
Book 3: Heirs Unapparent ~ takes place before the Miraculous series begins. Unrelated to cannon, but important to details from Shell Game and Miraclebound.
Book 4: Worldfall ~ takes place before Rockettear but after Optigami. Feeds from previous books, and a little canon (a very small amount).
Book 5: Donning the Red and Black (upcoming) ~ not at all canonically correct. Are you kidding? What's the fun in that? :D

Summary

“And our informant?” Other than the three of them and the boy, who is now staring back, Bond doesn’t see anyone else in the shop.
The man pauses. “What do you two know about Uroboros?”
The sudden change of subject pulls Bond away from the staring contest he's having with the kid. “Not much to be honest. Based on the report it's mostly just rumors. Something about visions of a doomsday project.”
“Doomsday sounds about right.”
“And it is far from rumor 007.” A small accented voice interrupts their conversation and all three turn back to the boy. “You would know that if you actually finished reading my report instead of skimming it. But I suppose that’s too much to ask for from a field agent isn’t it.”
It's then that the Double 0 sees it. Twirling in between small fingers, is a glittery green pen.
“You’ve got to be shitting me.”

Alya was watching the report on her phone again, most of their friends huddled around her. Marinette's hands were over her mouth, flanked by Rose and Juleka who were each holding on to her shoulders. Kim was standing over them, staring at the screen, mouthing along the words with a crease in his brow like he was sounding out a foreign language. Max was typing something on his laptop.
Nino flinched as the sound of the news report repeated the heart of the matter.
“15-year-old Adrien Agreste, reported missing since Friday.”
Nino crumpled the note in his clenched fist and walked over to join his friends. He could tell them. He just had no idea what they were going to do afterwards.
"I'm fine. Please tell everyone I'm okay. Don't tell my father or the police. I'll contact you when I can. - AA"
