    Daniel and Samantha's families have arranged their marriage. Daniel has no desire to marry and neither does Samantha, at least not to him. While he's in a forest practicing his lines for the wedding, a ghost appears to say the vows with him, claiming him for it's own and whisking him to the kingdom of Limbo. The ghost was Vladimir Masters, who was murdered after eloping with his love, but is now married quite happily with Daniel. But Daniel can't leave his family behind when he learns one of the guests are the wedding reception was his new husbands own murderer!

    In the early 90s Vampires revealed themselves to the Human world in an even that would be later known as ‘the Reveal’. It had gone a lot better than people had predicted, with Vampires soon blending into society. Once an alternative for simply just drinking blood straight from the source was readily available for the vampires of the world, a new career had arisen. A human could become a Familiar to a vampire who had the money and status to afford one. This human would then be theirs to drink from and use as they pleased, to a certain point. This included sex or simply domestic needs like a maid or cook.
    Having been orphaned at 14 when his parents had attempted to turn on their contraption they claimed to be a portal to the ‘ghost realm’, Danny is bounced around foster homes before moving to Wisconsin at 18. At 22, Danny is persuaded into asking his parents’ old college friend Vlad to become his Familiar (out of a need for money) in the hopes that maybe he won’t want to use him for anything sexual or strange.
    Vlad however has different plans for the young man, agreeing to his request.

    Danny had actually been looking forward to Casper High's ghost safety assembly, but, between a ghost attack and his parents' newest weapon, things go wrong very quickly. Now Danny will have to fight not only ghosts and hunters but his own instincts to get everyone back home safely. If at all.
