Summary
A little frantic, she grabbed a knife off the chopping block. Yes, she was aware this was a somewhat dramatic reaction to what she was sure was just her son cancelling his plans, but she wasn't going to find out empty handed like a fool from some budget slasher movie.
She yanked open the door to find… Ilya Rozanov?
He was naked.
She screamed.
“Ah!” Rozanov screamed back, grabbing a pillow from the bed and holding it to his crotch. “Blyat!”
Ilya Rozanov was in Shane’s bedroom. In Shane's apartment. Naked. Wearing nothing. Naked.
“Err-“ Rozanov broke the silence.
“Erm-” Yuna repeated, suddenly feeling flustered.
Burglars she could handle. Ilya Rozanov naked? Not so much.

At least he had one constant: the pain.
His shaking hands clutching his throbbing gut. The wound on his head gnawing at his skin. His eyes stinging from the mix of blood, sweat, and tears.
“Stay with me Dennis! Shit. Come on! Stay awake! Hey! Open your eyes!” The same woman’s voice from earlier was another constant. She switched to calling him Dennis as opposed to Whitaker half way through and there was a lot of swearing, so he thought it was either Santos or some other doctor he knew well enough. “We’re losing him!” Was the last thing he heard before he finally fainted.
Or, Santos doesn't find out about Whitaker being "between places" at the end of s1. Whitaker gets beat up by a patient and she finds out when he's discharged.
