He still sat upright in bed all night, staring at the far wall of his bedroom and imagining what he’d say to a young man with gently waving blond hair and arresting golden eyes and a lithe masculine build highlighted by a carefully tailored waistcoat, if only he would ever see him again.

The Trickster won a rigged game against all odds. And yet... The cost was far too much. The Phantom Thieves fell in the final battle against Yaldabaoth leaving Joker the only one remaining. He prevented Yaldabaoth from fusing reality and Mementos, the world was saved.
His friends, however, were gone.
In the end, given the choice to do it over again, but from the outside?

Of course, new problems arise.
