Yet, for Rui, he does not care. He didn’t care if he lost the titles he carried. He didn’t care if his body and mind crumbled. He didn’t care if he became an enemy to the public.
To lose himself for the sake of his beloved, Rui does not care.
At last, the King posed the question, his voice heavy with the weight of judgment, “Do you regret what you did?”
Without a moment's hesitation, Rui answered, locking his gaze firmly into the King’s eyes, “No. I do not.”
