Despite getting his badge back the self degrading thoughts from its absence remain underneath the surface. As little comments and reactions get leaked through, things come to a head when Miles hears outright how Phoenix views himself. Instead of talking the chief prosecutor decides to take another approach.
Or Phoenix wears a dress and Miles fucks him while showering him in complements.
