Soap has been through a time loop and made it out on the other side, so when Ghost dies and wakes back up where his morning started it doesn't take much to guess where this all is going. It doesn't make him any happier about it, but he does what he does best and grits his teeth and pushes through.

This is truly the most beautiful story I have ever read on AO3 the story really explores the true sadness and pain, that can come from love and, it embraces it. When I tell you that this story made me feel every emotion that soap and ghost felt. I felt soaps loneliness, and the feeling of being trapped ,being useless. I felt ghosts fear of hurting Johnny again of hurting people he love .the burden of slowly becoming more un efficient and also the feeling of imposter syndrome after he instead of Johnny became captain. This story is fucking brilliant. This heart crushing story about two men equally lost, but they can at least find each other. And let’s not forget that this is a fucking Call of Duty® fanfiction !?!! 10 out of 10 even though my heart will forever, be scarred<3
