Authors Note: I’m still pretty new to writing, so I didn’t think about the timeline for the story parts until after I finished Part 5 (oops). I was just vibing and writing my feelings... I am adding the timeline in the end notes of each chapter, upto Part 5... Part 6 onwards i will make sure the timeline is clear within the chapter.

Summary
The AU where Bobby adopted Evan when he was six years old, and then twenty years later Eddie joins the 118 and starts dating Buck... and no one initially realises that Evan and Buck are, in fact, the same person. Part 1 is the story of the identity shenanigans and the reveal.
Part 3 is a collection of missing scenes from the original story, while Parts 4 ('how it could have gone') and 5 ('another way it could have gone') are outtakes and depict two different scenarios where the reveal of Buck and Evan being the same person go a different way.
Part 2 'oh captain my captain' is a prequel and shows the 118 meeting Bobby and then later on Evan.
Part 6 'these are the days we've been waiting for' is the story of Buck's first day at the 118.
Part 7 'may you live in interesting times' is a sequel to that takes place about a year or so later, and Part 8 'I once was lost (but now I'm found)' directly follows on and is a full-length sequel and prequel to the main story.
This series as it is now is standalone and can be considered complete. The only reason I haven't marked it as such is because I do expect to be adding additional installments at some point in the future. Happy reading!

Summary
There was a post on the Destiel Port FB group about voices or noise in your own head that made it hard to complete a thought or sentence. This made me think of my own issues with noise that buzzes in my head that causes my depression/anxiety to cave in on me and leads me into a dark place or toward a panic attack or other pattern of self-deprecation or harm. This train of thought brought to mind Dean Winchester (my spirit animal ♡)

Summary
On the night of Castiel’s 18th birthday, Dean caught his boyfriend in the act of cheating. A heartbroken and pissed off Dean decided to break it off with a guilty Castiel. Then, Dean puts Sioux Falls in his rearview mirror and chased his dream of becoming a cop.
Within 10 years, Dean works his way up the ranks and earns his promotion of being the youngest Captain at only 28 years old. Unfortunately, the job placement is back in Sioux Falls Police Department.
After much contemplation, Dean accepts the job offer and moves back to Sioux Falls. There he finds out that his ex, Castiel, is also a cop- a deputy. Castiel now falls under his command- and maybe it’s a bittersweet reward.
Because maybe, he can serve Castiel his just desserts.
Of course, Dean fails to see just how much hurt Castiel already is in and how much 10 years in a small hypocritical town can take its toll on someone’s life.
For Dean, revenge is a dish best served cold.

Dean is a hunter teenager and is 16. He is physically abused by his father but makes sure he doesn't lay a hand on his younger brother, Sam, who is 14. (I shortened the age gap). The day after a beating from his father, Dean is waiting for Sam. Then suddenly there is some sort of commotion and screaming. Dean looks and sees a creature he's never seen before, but he starts fighting anyway. He pulls out his gun and starts shooting, taking down a lot of the creatures. When dean thinks it is safe he turns to leave, but is met but Captain America and Iron man, the superhusbands. What will happen when Dean collapses after due to his injuries he sustained in the beating and is taken to avengers tower? Will the avengers be able to save Dean from the endless cycle?
